The UCLA CIM recently produced a computer-based training program titled "Clinical Care for Sexual Assault Survivors" in partnership with International Rescue Committee (IRC). The training program teaches clinicians compassionate, confidential, and competent care when treating sexual assault survivors. Video clips and photographs from the training can be viewed here.

Recent News

The UCLA CIM was recently granted membership to the World Health Organization's (WHO), Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA). The GHWA was created in 2006 as a joint platform for action on the global health workforce crisis. The Alliance brings together communities working on the issue of human resources for health, encouraging unified and effective approaches that promise greater progress than in the past.

The UCLA Center for International Medicine recently became a member of the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood. CIM is proud to support their mission of making pregnancy and childbirth safe for all women and newborns worldwide.
